One of our top sleeper picks is Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. The 24-year-old is coming off a breakout season in which he hit .311 with 32 home runs and 97 RBIs. Guerrero has all the tools to be a superstar, and we think he's primed for an even bigger year in 2024.
Players to Avoid
While there are plenty of sleepers to be found, there are also some players you should avoid in your draft. These players may be overhyped or have injury concerns that could limit their production.
One player we're avoiding in 2024 is New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge. Judge is coming off a historic season in which he hit 62 home runs, but we think he's due for a regression in 2024. Judge is 31 years old and has had some injury issues in the past, so we're not convinced that he can repeat his 2022 performance.
