What's on the ballot?
Voters will elect a new governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, treasurer, auditor, superintendent of public instruction, and insurance commissioner. There will also be several statewide ballot measures, including a measure to legalize recreational marijuana.
How to register to vote
You can register to vote online, by mail, or in person at your local county elections office. You must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, and a resident of Washington state for at least 30 days.
How to vote
Washington state is a vote-by-mail state. All registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail. You can return your ballot by mail, drop it off at a ballot box, or vote in person at your local county elections office. Your ballot must be postmarked by Election Day or dropped off by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
