In a thrilling Club Friendly match, Erzgebirge Aue battled to a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the Sparkassen Erzgebirgsstadion in Aue, Germany. The game marked Dortmund's first proper test ahead of the upcoming season.
Dortmund dominated the opening stages of the match, but Aue held firm and grew into the game. The home side took the lead shortly before half-time through a well-taken goal by Erik Majetschak.
