About the Tournament

The UEFA Europa Conference League is a European football club competition, organised by UEFA. It is the third tier of European club football, behind the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. The competition was created in 2021 to replace the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup.

The 2023-2024 Season

The 2023-2024 UEFA Europa Conference League will be the third season of the competition. The competition will start on 13 July 2023 and will end on 11 May 2024. The final will be held at the Eden Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.

Participating Teams

A total of 184 teams from 55 UEFA member associations will participate in the 2023-2024 UEFA Europa Conference League. The teams will be divided into 32 groups of four, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout phase. The knockout phase will consist of 16 round of 32 matches, 8 round of 16 matches, 4 quarter-finals, 2 semi-finals, and the final.

Format of the Competition

The group stage of the 2023-2024 UEFA Europa Conference League will be played from 13 July 2023 to 15 September 2023. The knockout phase will be played from 13 October 2023 to 11 May 2024. The knockout phase matches will be played on a single-match elimination basis.

Prizes

The winners of the 2023-2024 UEFA Europa Conference League will receive a trophy and a prize money of €5 million. The runners-up will receive a prize money of €2 million. The semi-finalists will receive a prize money of €1 million each.
