Rafael Nadal Advances to 14th Roland-Garros Final

Rafael Nadal is through to his 14th Roland-Garros final after Alexander Zverev was forced to retire due to an ankle injury.

Nadal was leading 7-6 (8), 6-6 when Zverev twisted his ankle badly and was unable to continue. The Spaniard will now face Casper Ruud in the final on Sunday.

It was a disappointing end to the match for Zverev, who had been playing well and had pushed Nadal all the way in the first set. However, Nadal showed his class and experience to come through in the end.

The victory sets up a mouthwatering final between Nadal and Ruud. Nadal is aiming to win his 22nd Grand Slam title, while Ruud is looking to win his first.
