2024 Everest Season Update

Extended Season, Reduced Crowd

Season Extended to June 11th

The Everest spring season has been extended to June 11th, allowing teams more time to summit the world's highest peak. This is good news for climbers, as it will give them more time to acclimatize and reduce the risk of altitude sickness. Teams will have around 100 people on the mountain, substantially less than the hundreds that were present in March.

Arrival of IMG Climbers and Trekkers

The IMG climbers and trekkers will be arriving at Everest Base Camp on March 1st, 2024, before the start of the 2024 season. This team will be some of the first to arrive on the mountain and will help to set up the infrastructure for the rest of the season's climbers.
